The Fool Volk was the resident arts collective for La MaMa Galleria: creating new works (mostly theatre) inspired by and in conversation with each month's exhibition. The performances happened within the gallery space and were decidedly site-specific
Separate from the devised work La MaMa Galleria/La MaMa ETC gave The Fool Volk space for a 3-day exhibition. This included poems, visual art, film, illustration, tech sculpture, puppets, and jewelry. The evenings of this exhibit consisted of film showings, band performances, dance, and even a magician.
